The Positive Principle Show |
Big Sister Tricia
In an attempt to allow the cast to have the chance to talk with someone who has "been in their shoes", we have brought on Tricia as a peer to peer friend, mentor and "big sister". In ways that the cast can't speak with their coaches, they can communicate, learn and teach a "big sister" like Tricia.
Tricia was chosen for this very special role because she has been walking and learning the path of Positive Principles for many years. She has "been there and done that"! AND she is still learning and growing in her life. Tricia was also chosen because she has a dynamic personality and point of view.
Every week, Tricia will meet with one of the cast members for a Sister Chat. These fun informal conversations will help you get to know the cast and Tricia more. These will be filmed each week and you can watch! All the Sister Chats and Tricia's reflections and writings will be on her own BLOG PAGE.
We know that as you learn more about Tricia as she has her weekly Sister Chats & writings, you will love her as much as we do!

Tricia
"Mostly, I am a preschool teacher. I’ve been working with very young children and their parents for nearly 25 years. I love my work because in the classroom because it’s very easy to feel connected to the children and absolutely live in the moment.
Like everyone, I’ve had my ups and downs – the worst being a bout of suicidal depression that required hospitalization. The years around my divorce were pretty awful too. I spent years and years medicated and in psychotherapy, and although it was helpful in a lot of ways, it wasn’t until I started following Max along the mystical path that I really began to understand how to connect with my spirit to become a co-creator in my life. In the past, I simply reacted and adapted to people and circumstances as best I could, always wishing that I felt more like I was driving my own car instead of riding along in someone else’s story. I especially wished that I could relate to grown-ups as well as I could to little kids. With children, I felt relaxed and genuine, with grown-ups, I was fearful and often tried to hide my true feelings to avoid conflict and confrontation.
When I first started working with Max, we focused on my perceptions about money, which was certainly a practical place to begin. It wasn’t long, though, before we began talking about A Course in Miracles. We worked together for two years while I read the text and completed the exercises in the workbook. During that time, I took a couple of Max’s weekend workshops in the Law of Attraction and immediately noticed that there were definite areas of overlap since our perceptions have a lot to do with how we experience our lives.
I’m happy to say that I’ve been able to find my way along a path that has led me to a great career, a lovely home and a mate who is perfect for me. Nevertheless, I still have to work on my perceptions – especially my perception of my own self – and the lingering fears. I’ve had a dream or two on the back burner for over twenty years, and I’m standing in my own way."
